Supernova Moving

I called for an appointment Wednesday or Thursday. Steve calls on Friday and says sorry he can’t make it out today. I say it’s fine Steve since our appointment is for Saturday. He replies-it says the 24th and I respond-Saturday is the 24th so we are good.
Saturday comes around I get a call at the time of the appointment from Steve saying he is running 30 mins behind-no problem I say. He calls back a few mins later to cancel the appointment and asks when I can reschedule. I say Sunday because I would like to get this done ASAP, he sets the appointment for 5 PM again…
It is now 5:30 on Sunday and no Steve!! Thanks for wasting my weekend waiting around for you and your company to show up. THANK GOD IT WAS NOT THE ACTUAL MOVE DATE. ZERO STARS!! And btw no phone call this time… I call him on his cell and he is at home!! PLEASE DO NOT USE, save yourself the headaches.

I have moved many times, all over the USA. I read great reviews and called Supernova based on that. Steven answered the phone. He is very well- spoken, calm and clear. He provided a written estimate the same day.

Another company took a lot of my time on the phone,and the estimate was higher.

The cost of the move was higher than the estimate (but not much) because of heavy furniture that I forgot to list on my original inventory.

Joe and Mike, the movers who came with Steven, were friendly, polite and good-humored, which is admirable considering the hard work they do.

All in all, a great move, neat and tidy.

I have held off writing anything negative. I have been in my new home since July 14, 2017 & can not be quiet any longer.
I called Steve, he came to give me an estimate. I showed him EVERYTHING. He estimate was acceptable.
They were going to pack 1 day & load the next. This is my 7th move & this was how it has always been done. Makes sense.
They called me & decided to pack & load the same day (closing was next day. )
All I can say positive about Steve & Crew is they got my household from point A to point B on time & they were courteous.
I asked them if they could pack all things in room together with several boxes , of course. I was told sure any way you want.
I don't believe in hovering over people when they are working, so I gave them space. (Wrong decision on my part)
When truck arrived it was small, I said you are sure my stuff will fit. Oh yes I have been doing this for years, ok.
By the 3rd truck he told me they can't take everything, this was at about 8-9 pm at nite. WE MUST empty this place out, tomorrow we close!!
We had to throw out many items, very upsetting, our cars were full, to late to get a uhaul.
It has been over 2 months, we can't find many things. Many, many boxes are mismarked. One box with our clothes also has 1 shoe out of the pair in it. Ex. All my bathroom things were not packed together, even in several boxes. Ex. 3 boxes that said Kitchen pots & pans had one lid no pots. Only found half my steak knives. All my untensils scattered among boxes. They marked more half the boxes Office, we didn't have an office, ok give them that it was a bedroom.
I could go on & on, why bother. I just want to warn people hover over any packers for your own piece of mind and make sure they can write.
We also provided Lunch & Supper on packing day & lunch on unloading day. Not figured in service cost.
